NAMIBIA reported four new Covid-19 related deaths and 182 new cases, health minister Kalumbi Shangula said on Friday.
One death, is from Swakopmund while three others are from Windhoek.
Windhoek reported 91 cases of Covid-19, Walvis Bay 58, Swakopmund 16, Gobabis 5, Okahandja 2, Oshakati 3, Luderitz 3, Okakarara 1, Otjiwarongo 1, Rundu 1 and Katima Mulilo 1.
The minister said from the cases announced on Thursday, 15 were health care workers.
Namibia has however recorded 1 494 recoveries, with 1 458 of them from Erongo.
Namibia now has 3 726 confirmed cases , 2 342 recoveries, 1353 active cases and 31 deaths.
“Within the past three days we have reported 12 deaths and this underscores that we are dealing with a serious disease which calls for the seriousness of the public,” the minister said.
