Namibia reports 52 new Covid-19 cases, minister of health and social services Kalumbi Shangula said at the Covid-19 communication centre this morning. He said 51 are from Walvis Bay and one is from a quarantine facility.

He said 34 of the new cases involve males and 18 females. The youngest one is a year old and the oldest is 59.

One of the new cases is a Polish national.

This brings Namibia’s total number of cases to 257, with 24 recoveries. The total number of tested samples stand at 9 551, with 811 contacts.
