In an effort to meet the government halfway in the fight against Covid-19, a tailor in the Ohangwena region, Helaria Sheehama, trading as Meme Tangeni Tailoring, and a Helao Nafidi resident donated 200 masks to the Ohangwena Regional Council at Eenhana.
The masks are to be distributed to disadvantaged communities in the region.
Ohangwena region disaster risk management chairperson Erickson Ndawanifa, who received the masks on behalf of the regional council, assured the community the masks will be fairly distributed.
“Thank you very much, Meme Tangeni tailoring. These items are much needed, and we are truly grateful,” said Ndawanifa.
He challenged other businesses, organisations and individuals to follow suit.
