PRESIDENTIAL advisor Inge Zaamwani-Kamwi has tested positive for Covid-19.
A statement from the presidency said she tested positive for the virus on 13 August 2020.
According to the statement, the advisor remains asymptomatic.
Zaamwani-Kamwi commenced with self-isolation on Tuesday, 11 August 2020 after coming in close contact with a confirmed case.
“The Presidency will be disinfected over the weekend and staff members will work from home for the coming seven day period. Only essential staff will report for duty.
“The Presidency wishes to thank you, the Namibian public for your understanding during this period,” the statement read further.
