Namibia has recorded 45 new Covid-19 cases and 10 recoveries, executive director of health and social services Ben Nangombe said on Sunday.

A total of 25 cases are from Windhoek, five from Otjiwarongo, two each from Grootfontein, Swakopmund, Walvis Bay, Oshakati, Eenhana, and Outapi, and one each from Onandjokwe, Rehoboth and Rundu.

The Omaheke region has registered five recoveries, Kharas four and Ohangwena one.

Namibia now has 11 936 confirmed cases, 9 817 recoveries, 1 991 active cases and 128 deaths.
