THE country has recorded 19 new coronavirus cases and 160 new recoveries. This was announced on Tuesday afternoon by the health minister Kalumbi Shangula.
Of these cases, 14 are males and five are females, with the youngest eight years old and the oldest is 65 years.
Oshakati recorded eight, Windhoek six and Onandjokwe five.
Meanwhile the recoveries are distributed as follows; Khomas 63, Ohangwena 40, Hardap 33, Erongo 19, //Kharas four and Omaheke one.
Shangula said the total number of active cases now stands at 1 937. Of the active cases, seven are in severe or in critical conditions.
Namibia now has 11 673 confirmed cases, 9 611 recoveries and 125 deaths.
