Namibia has recorded six new deaths linked to the coronavirus, 179 new infections and 113 recoveries from the virus, health and social services minister Kalumbi Shangula said on Friday.

Shangula also said 150 people are hospitalised with Covid-19 currently, with 29 of the patients in intensive care units.

Among the 179 cases of newly confirmed novel coronavirus infections are six healthcare workers and six teachers.
