Health and social services minister Kalumbi Shangula announced 722 newly confirmed novel coronavirus infections in Namibia – including 395 in Windhoek – this evening (Tuesday).
The country has also recorded another 16 deaths linked to Covid-19, bringing Namibia’s novel coronavirus death toll to 936.
Shangula said 324 people are hospitalised with Covid-19 currently, with 61 of the patients in intensive care units.
