Namibia reported a record 24 Covid-19-related deaths today, as well as 263 newly confirmed novel coronavirus infections, health and social services minister Kalumbi Shangula has announced.

Shangula also said 280 people are hospitalised with Covid-19 currently, with 47 of the patients in intensive care units.

Over the past 14 days, Namibia has announced 121 deaths linked to Covid-19, showing a spike in deaths due to novel coronavirus infections.
