Namibia has recorded another three deaths linked to Covid-19, 207 new coronavirus infections and 211 recoveries from the virus, health and social services minister Kalumbi Shangula said on Friday.
Shangula also announced that the number of people vaccinated against Covid-19 in Namibia now stands at 2 094. Of that, 237 vaccine doses were administered since Thursday.
He said 150 people diagnosed with Covid-19 are hospitalised currently. Of those, 32 are in intensive care units. “All regions, except Kavango East, have hospitalised patients due to Covid-19,” he said.
