Namibia has recorded 157 new coronavirus infections, 58 recoveries from the virus and one death linked to the virus, Health and Social Services minister Kalumbi Shangula said on Monday.

Shangula also said 152 people are admitted to the hospital with Covid-19, with 24 of them under intensive care.

Of the 157 people diagnosed with novel coronavirus infections, 62 are school children and 12 are health care workers.
