The country has recorded 96 new Covid-19 cases. This brings the total number of cases to 960.
Health minister Kalumbi Shangula this afternoon said among the confirmed cases is one South African. He said two cases are from Karasburg, two from Keetmanshoop, one from Windhoek and the rest from Walvis Bay.
Shangula said 51 are males and 45 females. The youngest is a four-year-old and the oldest is 50.
The country has also registered two more recoveries – cases number 33 and 186. This brings the total number of recoveries to 31.
Two deaths have been recorded. A total of 16 305 tests have been conducted and 670 people are currently quarantined.
