NAMIBIA has recorded another four deaths linked to Covid-19, 188 new coronavirus infections and 74 recoveries from the virus, health and social services minister Kalumbi Shangula said on Monday.
Currently, Namibia’s recovery rate from novel coronavirus infections stands at 93%.
Shangula also said 138 people are hospitalised with Covid-19 currently, with 22 of the patients being treated in intensive care units.
The 188 people with newly confirmed novel coronavirus infections include 71 school pupils, five teachers and one healthcare worker.
