NAMIBIA has recorded five deaths linked to coronavirus, 154 new infections and 146 recoveries from the virus, health and social services minister Kalumbi Shangula said on Tuesday.

Shangula also said 146 people are admitted in hospital with Covid-19, with 15 of them under intensive care.

The 154 people with newly confirmed novel coronavirus infections include 69 pupils, 15 inmates at Etayi police holding cells, three teachers and four healthcare workers.
