NAMIBIA has recorded 365 new novel coronavirus infections, six deaths linked to the virus and 260 recoveries from an infection with the virus since the previous day, health minister Kalumbi Shangula said on Saturday.

The number of people hospitalised with Covid-19 has increased from 197 on Friday to 199 on Saturday, with 29 of those patients in intensive care units.

“We urge the public to disinfect their dwellings and workplaces by wiping frequently used surfaces with disinfectants and letting them dry for not less than 10 minutes,” Shangula said.
