NAMIBIA has recorded another eight deaths linked to the novel coronavirus, 390 new coronavirus infections and 562 recoveries from the virus, health and social services minister Kalumbi Shangula said on Monday.
Meanwhile, 273 people infected with the virus are hospitalised, with 28 of those in intensive care units.
“Today we are reporting cases from all the 14 regions, with Khomas region reporting the highest number of cases followed by Oshana region, representing 44% and 23% of all confirmed cases respectively,” Shangula said.
Of the 390 newly confirmed coronavirus infections recorded in Namibia since Sunday, 170 were located in Khomas.
