NAMIBIA has recorded two new Covid-19 deaths, 28 new Covid-19 cases, and 22 recoveries, health and social services minister Kalumbi Shangula said on Monday.
Windhoek recorded 12 new cases, Oshakati six, Mariental four, Walvis Bay three, with Okahandja, Rundu and Karasburg one each.
The two deaths are both from Windhoek and are of a 52-year-old woman and a 58-year-old man.
The minister said 18 of the recoveries are from the Hardap region with Omusati and Ohangwena regions reporting two recoveries each.
Namibia now has 11 654 confirmed cases in total, 9 451 recoveries with 2 078 active cases and 125 deaths.
